Johnny was thrilled when "The Polish Prince" Bobby Vinton recorded a number of his songs! "Polka Radio" appears on Bobby's Greatest Polka Hits Of All Time CD. What an honor when Bobby credited Johnny as being "one of the most creative songwriters of our time!"
Johnny performed at September's Club On Sunday, November 14, 1982 and played his new song "Grandma and Grandpa" polka. Johnny was thrilled we he received the news that Bobby Vinton will use his song in his nightclub act! In 1991, the name was changed to "A Song for Grandma and Grandpa."

In 2011, Johnny's “Polish Prince” song was recorded by Grammy Award winner Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra. Johnny's song, based on the 1978 autobiography “The Polish Prince – Bobby Vinton,” was included on Sturr's Grammy nominated “Not Just Another Polka” CD.
